The Mackay Hospital Foundation is a community driven, local charity, providing fundraising support to the Mackay Base Hospital and all other public hospitals in our district.
Government funding provides essential health services but it cannot pay for everything. The Foundation’s role is to fill the gap; to provide those extras that will help patients to receive the finest health care possible and support hospital staff, to have the best working environment to provide it.
100% of the donations received by the Mackay Hospital Foundation are given to the area or hospital chosen by You. The Foundation does not use any portion of your gift for administrative expenses.
